Moonhouse Music are delighted to work with a broad range of composers, arrangers and performers. Here are some of our Featured Artists:

Hannah Shilvock


Hannah is a clarinet and bass clarinet specialist, woodwind double and arranger based in London.

She is a BG France, RATstands and DEBUT Classical 'Horizon' Artist, pioneer of the bass clarinet, and has recently published her arrangement of Debussy’s Cello Sonata arr. for bass clarinet and piano, with Alea Publishing.

Hannah completed a Masters in Bass Clarinet Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with Distinction in 2020, where she was a scholar for the two years; and achieved a First Class Honours Bachelor of Music from the University Of Southampton in 2018.

Hannah is an active bass clarinet soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player, and is also available as a woodwind doubler - clarinets (Bb, Eb, bass), flute/piccolo and saxes. She won the John Ireland Prize in 2018), Bronze Award in the Tunbridge Wells Interim Competition (2020) and was awarded the Peter Evans Prize for performance excellence from the University of Southampton and the Wilfred Hambleton Chamber Music Prize from Trinity Laban. She has been a finalist in many competitions pioneering the bass clarinet - most recently in the final of the Ernest Reed Symphony Orchestra 'Soloist of the year'.

Hannah is currently a member of ‘New Woods Collective’, a trio of bass clarinet, flute and piano specialising in contemporary repertoire; and a member of Hacha Duo (bass clarinet and cor anglais).

Keri Degg

Keri Degg is a teacher, musician, and composer based in Derbyshire, UK. She is passionate about teaching, exploring individual learning styles and methods, and music for examination and education. She runs a busy private teaching practice from Hilcote Community Centre, Derbyshire, and performs as and when time allows as a soloist and also with Equinox Saxophone Ensemble.

Over the years she has come to specialise in teaching adult learners (many of the students have only taken up their instrument after retirement), and enjoys building confidence (which then often improves other areas of life), and enjoyment of playing She also runs the relaxed Wayward Winds group every fortnight to encourage players to gain confidence in group playing, whilst also learning with humour (and usually cake too!).

Keri is a talented composer and has works published by Spartan Press and Masquerade Music. Her pieces appear on the graded examination syllabi (including both jazz woodwind as well as standard woodwind) for Trinity College London, ABRSM and London College of Music.

Bronco Hutchings


Bronco Hutchings is a Somerset based professional musician. He has worked with a professional bands, such as The Yetties and The Bog Dogs, where he was the resident fiddle player and accordionist. He is currently part of the band Ship of Fools, which performs on the circuit across the South of England. Bronco also plays Euphonium within the Stoke Sub Hamdon Band and the Yeovil Salvation Army Band.

Within Bronco Hutchings active time within the music industry he taught an award winning music course in Composition at the Somerset Performing Arts Library where he was the Course Leader and Creator of the Composers and Arrangers Group. Bronco also held the fantastic Folkestra which Peter Shutler (The Yetties Accordionist) which was a 45 player strong ensemble including Brass, Strings and all Folk orientated instruments. Bronco has also taught in the Somerset area as a Strings and Brass teacher within schools and the Yeovil Music Centre.

An established session musician, Bronco has worked with some amazing artists but one being Gary Shail (the actor and musician), where he played strings and brass on his album. Gary Shail then went on to be the producer for Bronco with his instrumental album called The Bronco Hutchings Album (available from our shop HERE)! The album was subsequently signed to AB Records.

Bronco has had a strong passion for composition and arranging, from string arrangements to Brass Band compositions, and his strong teaching background lends itself also to educative publications. He has been published by several other music publishers including Devilish Publishing and was also score editor for Lakes Music Publications.

Kate Keats

Kate studied the ‘cello at Trinity College of Music, London, with Lowri Blake, Karine Georgian and Alexander Baillie and went on to gain a scholarship for her Post-Graduate studies in Performance. During her time at Trinity Kate was principal cellist of the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and performed regularly with her string quartet - coached by Nona Liddell – which won scholarships to study at the prestigious Dartington International Summer School of Music and the Michael Bochmann chamber music course.

Since graduating Kate has worked in South Africa as co-principal cellist with the Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Durban Baroque Players and the Tekweni String Quartet, and subsequently in the U.K. with orchestras such as the English National Ballet Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, English National Baroque Orchestra and the Emerald String Ensemble. Kate gives regular solo and chamber music recitals and enjoys teaching the cello to diploma level. She plays a Colin Irving cello.

Paul Hutchinson


A member of the much-loved duo Belshazzar’s Feast along with the late Paul Sartin, Paul Hutchinson has 20 years of touring in the UK, appearances on television and radio gained them many plaudits including a nomination for Best Duo at the BBC Folk Awards in 2010. He is regarded as one of the top accordionists in the country because of his unique, refreshing, and at times ‘classical’ approach to playing. He is an experienced workshop leader.

Paul also has a keen interest and knowledge of 17th & 18th-century music which has resulted in appearances at festivals in the UK, Europe, and the USA.

His love of fusion music originates from his days in the renowned Celtic jazzers, Hoover the Dog. Pagoda is the next exciting chapter in his musical journey providing a vehicle for his own compositions with more than a helping hand from the wonderful jazz clarinetist, Karen Wimhurst. Their debut album ‘Clarion’ received 5 Star reviews from Songlines and fRoots

Dominic Irving

Dominic studied composition and piano for four years at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, graduating in 2009 with a 1st-class BMus Honours degree. His tutors included Stephen Montague, Errollyn Wallen, and Philip Fowke. In 2011, he completed an MA in Composition of Music for Film and Television (MA-FTV) at Bristol University, studying with Martin Kiszko and John Pickard.

Dominic's composition prizes include the White Horse Composition Competition (1998), the Simon May Trophy (2003), National Festival of Music for Youth (2005), London Contemporary Chamber Orchestra Piece of the Year (2008), the John Halford Prize (2009), and A Carol for Christmas (2012).

Dominic is an accomplished music copyist, and has produced scores for projects involving the BBC Proms, the London Mozart Players, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Four, and the composers Diana Burrell and Stephen Montague.

Dominic began composing music at age 10 with his first solo piano piece, Strolling, which was played on local radio. Since then, his music has been performed all over the UK, including at Blackheath Halls, the Barbican Centre, BFI Southbank, the Birmingham CBSO Centre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and King's College Chapel, Cambridge. It has also been broadcast on Classic FM and BBC Radio 3.
